CHARGING YOUR EV AT HOME, MADE SIMPLE

 We can only install charging points at locations with off-street parking. The cabling cannot run across publicly owned land. 

 A standard installation would include installing the charging point to an external wall of your house or garage. Please ensure you can connect to your Wi-Fi network at your preferred installation location. 

 If the distance between your consumer-unit to your charging is 0 to 5m, we would class this asa standard install. If it is further, then extra cable length would be required which would be £15 per metre. 

*Your consumer unit is sometimes called a fusebox

We will need to run a cable to connect your electricity meter and the charging point, in a standard install we would clip this neatly to your outside wall. If you require the cable to be run under the ground, this will cost more and involve groundworks before the charging point installation. 

• Fitting of the charging point on a brick or plaster wall, (or to another suitable permanent structure)
• Up to 5 metres of cable, run and neatly clipped to the wall between the distribution board and the charging socket (extra cable length is £15 per metre)
• All electrical connections and protections from the supply to the charging unit
• Surge protection device to protect EVCP and vehicle
• A consumer unit installed within or next to the meter cupboard
